IE issues

by VM Brasseur on October 6th, 2005

It’s come to my attention that viewing this site in IE results in a whole lotta ugly. No CSS applied, no images included. Diddly squat.

I’ll look into fixing this, but as I run (a)Firefox and (b)Linux exclusively, I don’t have a good way to test things.

In the meantime, I suggest ya’ll do the right thing and download/use Firefox or Opera instead of Internet Explorer.

  1. The problem has been located but not yet fixed. Turns out I need to update the version of the theme that I’m using. Hopefully that’ll be done by the end of the day.

Which doesn’t mean you still shouldn’t jettison IE in favor of Firefox or Opera, of course.

  2. OK, theoretically this problem is now solved. My sans-IE state precludes me from testing it, so if any of you poor souls out there are IE users I’d appreciate it if you could tell me whether you’re seeing the site theme or not.

Hey I can see the GG and pretty colours, yay.

  4. Thank God. I wasn’t sure it was going to work. And the update even improved the layout (subtly) for Firefox as well.
