Theme Wuhan

by VM Brasseur on August 31st, 2005

Here’s your next choice of themes. It’s called “Wuhan.” I rather like it, and the header graphic is somewhat apropos. Maybe I can find a theme based on Sonoma County to be even more geographically-correct.

Anyway, comments are welcome as always.

A new “real” post will be coming soon, I promise.

  1. Pardon the blog downtime which kicked in earlier today. I’d originally blamed it on my router flaking, but it turns out that there was a power outtage at the house and it brought down the server.

Might be time for little ol’ me to took into buying that Uninteruptable Power Supply…

I like this theme much better…..now if you could just show a pirate ship going under the bridge…….

  3. Again with the pirates… I’ll see what I can do about that later.

  4. I’m going to have to agree. It’s hard to say no to something that screams “AVAST!” on a semi-regular basis.

  5. Patience, grasshoppers. Now is not the time for pirates.

  6. I agree — I like this theme better. The green in particular is nicer.

For some reason, I am having a strong negative reaction to the picture of the bridge. … After a few moments of deep introspection, I realized that there is a similar picture of a the bridge in the header of a website project I’m working on. It is not my favorite project. I suspect I may be biased about bridge pictures at this time. You should probably disregard my bridge comments. Although adding pirates under the bridge seems like a good idea. What’s the deal with the pirates, anyway?

  7. There are no pirates in the Bay Area (anymore). OK, so there are some corporate pirates and people who pirate movies and music and the like. And of course there’s the Oakland Raiders. But there are no real pirates sailing around assaulting the coastline, giving those rich Tiburon and Sausalito folks the sound plundering they so obviously deserve.

Therefore the lack of pirates is accurately depicted in the header image.
