I left the office early today so I could come home and work some more (easier to focus on some things when there aren’t people around). On my way home I stopped by Whole Foods and picked up some quick and easy food for dinner. I looked at it when I got home and decided I maybe…just maybe…my body is telling me that it needs more protein. What I got (from the steam table in a to-go container):
- Chicken tikka masala
- Chicken vindaloo
- Dal (Indian beans)
- Tofu and pea curry
- A few pieces of curried cauliflower, just to see how it tastes
Yes, I looked at it when I got it home. Then I ate the chicken half of it without waiting for dinner. I couldn’t help it. It was sitting there, bursting with chickeny goodness. And I, it seems, needed protein.
