Better late than never

Hannah Capua graced us with her presence 3.5 months ago. She was born one month early.

That makes this baby blanket only 2.5 months late rather than the 3.5 it would otherwise be as I feel I’m owed that extra month. Pretty sure she won’t begrudge me that.

When the colors were selected we didn’t know whether she was going to be a boy or a girl, but I still probably would have made the same choices. The colors are just kind of happy.

This is the pattern for the blanket. It’s an easy pattern, but assembling the thing was rather a pain in the butt.

Since the blanket is destined for a baby-proof space I opted against the tassels, however fetching they may be.
