Garum! Garum Colatura!

The garum has finally arrived! HUZZAH! The collision of my inner food geek with my inner Classics geek is now complete!

It’s been backordered since June and then was further delayed by order complications (read: expired credit card on file), but the diligence of the fine fine foodies at Zingerman’s has brought my treasure to me!

If I get the chance later I’ll post a pic of the bottle. It’s a lovely little thing and is filled with a honey-colored liquid. As I’m still at the office I won’t be opening said bottle yet. I don’t want to risk making the entire place reek of rotted fish juice.

YAY! GARUM! Now to start planning what I’ll do with it…
