We're Back!

FirstStep is back up and running in its new home in Oakland. The server is one of the few things in the flat which is up and running, thanks to Marc who plugged everything in just before the Comcast guy needed it. Speaking of which…

Many thanks also to Vincent the Comcast contractor. He was undaunted by the novelty of a Linux machine and, with a small bit of assistance from me, got everything up and running on the first trip. That has never before happened for me when setting up a broadband connection. Kudos!

OK, off to make up and collapse into the bed with my traumatized feline.
