Book Review: Wild Seed by Octavia E. Butler

Somehow this may be the first Butler work I’ve ever read. Yeah, I know, it surprised me when I realised it, too.

This book was unlike anything I’ve ever read. Unlike most books, I had no idea what was going to happen as the story progressed. I tried guessing how it would end and was entirely wrong.

It was wonderful. It’s so rare I get the chance to read a work that’s both unique and brilliantly executed.
