Book Review: The Mythic Dream by Various

This book is a few years old, but only newly arrived at my library (thanks to them indulging my suggestions). It crossed my RSS feeds in some way and caught my attention. Modern retellings of myths? Written by some of the most talented SFF authors working today? Sign me up!

I thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every story in this compilation. Usually there’s a dud or two in a collection, but not this time. All the authors brought their A game and really did fantastic jobs with their chosen myths. I even enjoyed the cyberpunk one (not a genre I usually like too much).

Definitely a book that’s worth the time of any SFF fan. Highly recommended.
