An auspicious day. This is the day when I adopted Moira. She was eight years old at the time. Today she’s seventeen and, according to her vet, fit as the proverbial fiddle. Which is appropriate I suppose as they both rely on cat gut to function…

I saw a friend this weekend who said that she sends the occasional update to the shelter where she got Albert, her lovely feline, to let them know he’s found a good home. It occurred to me that I’d never done the same for Moira. Sure, the shelter may not care much. But it seems to me that if one of your feline graduates reaches the ripe old age of seventeen you might have a small bit of interest.

So I could have something to send in the message to the shelter I quickly prepared a small gallery of Moira pics{.broken_link}. Sure, it ain’t high art, but my entirely biased judgment deems them cuddly and adorable. Besides, in the pictures you can’t hear her meow. You know, the meow that can pierce through armor shielding and lay to waste small poorly-constructed villages. Yeah, that’s the one.

View the pics. Honor the feline. Simple as that.
