Spicy

My shipment has arrived from The Spice House. Yet another impulse purchase gone terribly correct, I’m sorry to say.

The treasure which arrived at my desk today:

• 1 gram Coupe Spanish Saffron
• 1 ounce Grains of Paradise{.broken_link}
• 2 ounces Za’atar spice blend
• 2 ounces Ras El Hanout
• 2 ounces Ceylon True Cinnamon

I’d been looking forward to opening the box and getting a nose-full of the smells but, alas, The Spice House uses damn fine packaging. Even if I push my nose right up to the bags I can hardly smell a thing. This bodes very well for the spices inside. I’m looking forward to going home and trying them all out.
