The Genius of xkcd

The webcomic xkcd rarely fails to entertain. Randall Munroe, the mastermind behind the comic, has brought us such classics as IN UR REALITY (reference to the LOLCATS meme), Schrodinger, The Map of Online Communities and, of course, the classic Sandwich.

Today’s comic ranks up there as one of my all-time faves (click the pic for the full-size version). Sure, the geeky stuff is great. I speak geek. But combining geekness with a food reference and a spectacular pun which just sideswipes you from out of nowhere? That’s true genius. Because it needs to be shared with the world, this comic has already been printed up and hung beneath the name plaque outside my office. And now I mention it here. Enjoy.
